Nana Obiri Boahene, a leading member of the NPP, and one time minister of state in charge of Interior under the Kufours administration justifies the extermination of Ga's and Ewes by describing the genocidal comments by Kennedy Agyapong as a fair comment rooted in the laws of Ghana.
Speaking on the political searchlight programme on radio focus in London, Nana Obiri Boahene said it was fair for Kennedy Agyapong to have declared genocidal war on Ewes and Gas.
According to Nana Obiri Boahene, it was fair comment in law for Kennedy Agyapong to made those declaration.
“What Kennedy said, I will call it fair comment in law. If he says we will lynch and kill Ewes and Gas in the Ashanti region, it is fair comment in law because our people are also being beaten in odododiodio,” Obiri Boahene said.
It would be recalled that the NPP member of parliament for Assin North Kenedy Agyapong in response to what he claimed are attacks on NPP supporters in Odododiodio in Greater Accra, ordered the people of Ashanti region to massacre Gas and Ewes without any apparent reason, and went ahead to declare war in the country .
