Nigerian football star Victor Osimhen has dismissed any notion of the Nigerian team indulging in sexual activities during the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Cote d'Ivoire.

Osimhen emphasized that the Super Eagles will remain focused and steer clear of any distractions, including interactions with prostitutes, as they gear up for the final showdown against hosts Cote d'Ivoire on Sunday.

In a video call with injured Super Eagles player Victor Boniface, who jokingly suggested providing prostitutes to the team as part of their celebration for reaching the tournament final after a thrilling victory over South Africa, Osimhen swiftly rebuffed the suggestion.

“Make them give Pere Nwa two Oloshos each for this night, una deserve am," the Bayer Leverkusen striker said.

Responding to Boniface's comment urging for "two Oloshos each" for the night, Osimhen retorted, "Thunder will strike you. We remain focused until we win, do you understand what I'm saying? No distractions, we remain focused until we win. Are you walking alone now? Have you started walking alone?"

The Super Eagles secured their spot in the final of the 2023 AFCON by defeating South Africa 4-2 in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time.

The Super Eagles who are aiming for the fourth continental title will face hosts, Ivory Coast in the finals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament at the Olympic Stadium of Ebimpé with kick-off scheduled at 20:00GMT.
