Kwadwo Boateng Agyemang, a former New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency chairman for New Juaben North, has spoken against anyone against campaigning for former President John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming 2024 elections.
In a statement, Mr. Agyemang asserted that such a campaign is an insult to the sensibilities of the Ghanaian people.
He emphasized that Mr. Mahama's poor performance, incompetence and being globally perceived as "scandal king of the moment" does not make him a better alternative.
“Throughout his tenure, John Mahama faced criticism for perceived governance failures and a lack of decisive leadership.
“From economic mismanagement to infrastructural deficiencies, his administration encountered numerous challenges that significantly impacted the nation.
“The enduring effects of the power crisis under his leadership remains a poignant memory for many Ghanaians,” he emphasised.
