The Ashanti Regional Health Directorate has warned that there are indications that, there might be an outbreak of Cholera in the Region.
In view of this threat, the general public is therefore cautioned to take serious health precautionary measures to forestall the eruption of any eventuality.
In a release signed and copied to HIGHANA by the Regional Director of the Helth Service, Dr. Kofi Asare, the service pointed out two risk factors which are likely to increase the occurence.
These according to the release include, the emergence of the rains and indiscriminate disposal of human waste.
The release, howerver, advised the general public to start practising good personal hygiene to prevent any re-occurence of cholera.
