ModernGhana News Is Not Responsible For Disabling My Comment Box

My attention has been drawn by the Editor of ModernGhana News, to the accusation of the online media for blocking readers to give comments on my articles.

I want to state it clearly that ModernGhana News is not responsible for that. This was my decision after I discovered that someone is using false names in verbal attacks. I don’t know the intention of the person or what he wants to achieve.

This started when my articles started appearing in the MOST READ column and always the aim of the person is to discredit my articles. I wouldn’t have taken it seriously until the person started insulting my family's name, including my mother.

My tribe as a Fanti wasn’t even spared, always Fanti this and that, in this modern Ghana that people are aware of what the roots of tribalism and nepotism can do to a society. This was the reason I disabled it.

I don’t hate comments, whether encouraging or disappointing since I learn a lot from what readers say but insulting my mother is something I will not accept. I will think about it for some time and if it’s necessary, I will leave it open.
