Social Activist, V. L. K. Djokoto, has strongly condemned the recent attack on the Dolbel Parish in the Diocese of Niamey, Niger. He also expressed his condolences to the priest, Father Nicaise Avlouké, who was wounded during the incident.
In a statement, Djokoto emphasised the need “to promote inter-religious dialogue and understanding in the Sahel as a long-term preventive measure against the spread of terrorism on the African continent,”.
The parish is located some 200 km from the capital city, in the Songhay-Serma area.
