He Is Very Good To Me But I Have No Feelings For Him

I am sitting among family and friends over assorted alcoholic drinks. I just finished a glass of a creamy alcholic drink on ice.

And this drink in me just jolted a thought in my mind with the euphoria .

It is about that feeling we want to have with our significant partner. And it looks as if it is the thing that is so important in deciding to finally settle.

Thus even if that one who is persuing us has the qualities that right thinking people find as worthy partner , one could still reject that offer because that person hasn't gotten the magic thing to turn us on.

We must lose our minds with him or her to make it feel right. If we are at his presence, we must fall over our heels. We must have that tingling feeling.

It must take you to another level. It must make you feel you are in the cloud. The sight of that person should give you orgasm.

But life is real. In life, feelings dont do much. It can only make you feel the way i feel now with the fanciful alcholic cream i just gulped into my throat. I feel different. I feel excited in a different way that I can't put into words.

But i still have some lucidity . I am clearly aware schools would reopen next week. Breakfast, snack pack, feeding fee, extra class fees and school fees for my three kids in private schools would have to be settled.

Apart from my three kids , four other kids of extended family living with me that i am parenting are on my mind.

I think women ,largely, who reject good suitors on the excuse that they dont have feelings for them are not properly guided in what long term relationship entails.

They ignorantly believe feelings is all that matter to find lasting joy in a relationship.

And although i know that the sensation i am experiencing with a glass of Golden Tears Whiskey Cream on rocks wont be a great companion in solving my daily challenge after the holidays, i am unsure how a woman would have lasting fulfilling relationship with a partner that could only hit her sensational cord.

Life is real; and the reality of life can be challenging that for a moment we would think escaping this reality would help; with anything.

But this feelings that take us to the realms of heavens dont last forever. Nobody escapes reality forever: even from the excitement one gets in an expensive foreign alcholic drink.
