Lend me Your Ears, Ashanti Region Delegates

The public must be duly informed that Wontumi is going unopposed and that if Sam Pyne is reelected, (with Andy Owusu hiding behind Wontumi) the combination is going to be very disastrous for Ashanti Region.

It is important to note that, because Wontumi is not well educated, (no hard feelings) and therefore depended on Sam Pyne to write his English, Sam Pyne made sure he run Ashanti the way he wanted by allegedly taking bribes and writing wrong letters to people who had been assessed by the Disciplinary Committee.

This brought Ashanti to a dangerous precipice that was going to topple over into destruction because of fraud and irresponsible actions that had gone to offend most constituency chairmen and MPs.

We should also not forget about allegations of bribery during the appointments of MMDCEs for Ashanti Region. People felt that Andy Owusu worked closely with Sam Pyne to extort money from them with Wontumi looking on.

These and many other reasons were what made Asare Bediako's candidature as chairman very attractive to people with Wontumi looking nervous. People on the streets are saying whoever made Asare Bediako step down has caused a great harm to Ashanti Region.

This is not an article on Chairmanship. It is about Sam Pyne who arrogantly sidestepped the Electoral Commission and allegedly brought in thumb-printed ballot papers to force and change a winner of the chairmanship position in Oforikrom Constituency.

Everybody who was there saw the Regional Secretary in Ashanti Region being attacked physically and beaten by women. The regional Disciplinary Committee did not take an action against Sam Pyne because the same Sam Pyne would have written a letter to invite himself to the meeting. The case is not over yet because I will personally write a petition to the Disciplinary Committee to sanction Sam Pyne for making the incumbent chairman of Oforikrom to drag the Party to court.

Sam Pyne goes around lying to people that he has been endorsed by H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo.

This has angered the grassroots who have not been offered any jobs after the NPP has been in power for almost two years. We cannot boast of any employment opportunities from him. All that this selfish man is doing is to stay in Accra and lobby for positions for himself.

Please make sure you do not renew Sam Pyne’s mandate as Ashanti Regional Secretary or else we are doomed.
