Mylik Sports to organise charity football match


Accra, August 9, GNA - Mylic Sports Limited is to organise a Mylic U-14 charity soccer gala match in aid of the Dansoman Community Library on Saturday, August 20 at the Liberty Professionals grounds. The charity gala, which is in collaboration with 'Participation in the Lives of African Youth', (PLAY) is a joint effort of developing grassroots football.

The participation teams are Liberty Academy, Mylic/5GEC Academy, Datus Academy and Polo Academy.

Mr Kofi Bawuah, Chief Executive Officer of Mylic Sports in a press release issued to the GNA Sports said the programme aims at providing an opportunity for young talented footballers through top-stage exposure to showcase their skills.

The programme is also to use football as a tool to highlight issues affecting the community and to encourage the kids through football to see education as pivotal to their development.
