Eastern Regional Division Two League to start on August 21


Koforidua, July 29, GNA - The Eastern Regional Division Two football League competition is to kick start on August 21 this year. The date for the start of the competition was arrived at a consultative meeting of the Management Board of the Regional Football Association (ERFA) with representatives of team managers of the Division Two Clubs in the Region at Koforidua on Wednesday.

The meeting said that registration of new players would start immediately and would end after the 10th week. The Secretary of ERFA, Mr Martin Bruce informed the meeting that the fixtures for the league would be sent to the managers of the participating teams by August 14.

Mr Bruce said from the first week of August, a technical team would undertake an inspection of the playing fields of the new clubs that had been promoted to participate in the League.
