It is a shame that Accra Metropolitan Assembly has NOT in its recent history organised any EFFECTIVE town hall meetings to dialogue and inform residents of Accra of its developmental agenda and vision.
It is a pity that 21 Century Accra looks worse than the dark ages of colonial rule and slavery. Time and again, every mayor of Accra have proven how incompetent they are by the sort of mess they leave behind. We have absolutely no idea what is happening in Accra, even behind our our own houses and in our various communities.
We are treated as fools and slaves who must only abide by by-laws and directives. Are we animals in a zoo in Accra? Even animals are not this cheap and dirty. Our leaders have no conscience!
I use this medium and offensive to aggressively push the Accra Metropolitan Assembly to start holding at least, a monthly Town Hall meeting: to speak to and answer questions from residents of Accra. The time is now!
