Nigerian Community Hosts Free Health Fair and Legal Clinic to Benefit Members of Pan-African and Latino Community

Los Angeles, CA - In light of the negative press associated with the abduction of more than two-hundred Chibok girls in northern Nigeria; the Nigerian Chamber of Commerce-USA (NICOCUSA) is proud to host an educational event, which aims to address some of the challenges and issues affecting members of the Pan-African, African-American and Latino communities in Southern California.

The NICOCUSA 2014 Health Fair and Legal Clinic will take place on Saturday, June 21 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Jerome's Catholic Church, who has partnered with NICOCUSA to host this unique event.

Attendees of this complimentary event will be able to connect with members of the local Nigerian community while enjoying a variety of fun and educational offerings. Free health care check-ups will be provided, and licensed attorneys practicing Immigration, Labor, and Family Law will be on hand to offer free legal consultations. Food, drinks, music, jumpers, faces painters, and clowns on hand to offer entertainment.

A variety of reputable Sponsors and Exhibitors are already on board, including: McDonalds, Airport Marina Ford, Susan G. The Fair, which hopes to reach more than 2,000 people, will take place in the parking lot of St. Jerome Catholic Church, located at 5550 Thornburn Street, Los Angeles, CA 90045.
