To move on with dreamless people is to kill our dreams

The lives of people are directed by voices—our own voices, the voice of others, the voice of God and also the voice of Satan.

The truth is the voices that we hear without are what end up commanding us unconsciously. If the voices are negative, we will end up battling with negative voices. The Lord Jesus did warn His disciples regarding the leaven of the Pharisees. What my Lord meant was, they should be careful with the influence of the Pharisees. He did tell them this because He knew of the power of words. Besides Jesus Christ, one of the Apostles also warned on evil communication, because it can corrupts good manners.

To help us to avoid killing our dreams, it is good to walk and obey the law of uniformity. Plants of the same species stand together. Birds of the same feather flock together. Similarly, we also need to learn from nature. If for example, your dream is to be footballer, you need to have more footballers as your friends.

Being among the right people and being in the right place is one of the keys of success. For example, if someone desires to be an engineer, but does not read books on engineering or do anything in relations to the engineering, that person cannot become an engineer. So, moving with the right people in the right place is the key needed—the law of relativity. In fact, not being among the right people, and not been in the right places often challenge many to drop their dreams.

Iron sharpens iron, says the bible. In fact, wood cannot sharpen a knife—the two are incompatible. So, know the company you keep as you go. Wrong companies will land you in the wrong places. Wrong companies can make you kill your dreams. In fact, instead of helping you to be an achiever they will help you to be a killer of your good dreams. However, a good company will help you to be revived always and challenge you to move and achieve that dream. The truth is, the voices we hear do influence us consciously and unconsciously, so screen the voices and be watchful. Some of these voices are audible, and some are silent. For example, the voices of tradition or culture are not audible, yet, hmm.
