Dealer Computers and Office Supplies has teamed up with Intercontinental Bank of Ghana Limited to introduce a programme to bridge the digital divide.

Under the partnership the public, as well as customers of both companies, can acquire a computer, a laptop or any other information communications technology (ICT) product with a personal loan from the partner bank.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to that effect was signed on behalf of Dealer Computers by the Managing Director of the company, Mr Hussein Fakhry, while the Business Manager of Intercontinental Bank Ghana Limited, Mr Eric Houadjeto, signed on behalf of the bank.

A statement issued by Dealer Computers said the main aim of the project was to encourage students, employees, business people and the general public to get personal computers and laptops in their homes, schools and offices to enable them to integrate into the information age.

“The two parties agreed to offer the best quality to price ratio and provide necessary financial assistance and supply requests in a very fast and efficient way,” the statement said.
