Nana Kwame Bediako, an independent candidate running for president in Ghana's 2024 elections, believes history will remember him.
In an interview with Accra-based Joy FM on Wednesday, April 10, the New Force leader discussed his plan to dredge the sea to Kumasi.
He had explained that the move was to promote trade in the region and reduce the pressure of heavy vehicles travelling hours by road to send goods to the Ashanti region.
In the interview, he emphasized that he has already harboured the dream of changing economies and building nations which will aid him in leaving a blueprint and not necessarily making money.
"I see myself as one of the people to be talked about in the next 500 years, and I know people don't like to hear this fact," he stated confidently.
“I went to the market in the Ashanti Region and most women were putting their clothes on the floor for me to walk on, it was so touching," he revealed.
The independent candidate is campaigning on promises of ambitious infrastructure projects and economic transformation.
