Renowned Ghanaian highlife singer and lyricist, Amandzeba Nat Brew, has highlighted the significant role music plays in driving development in Ghana.

During an appearance on the YLeaderboardSeries on Y107.9 FM's Myd Morning Radio Show with host Rev Erskine, Amandzeba explained that music has the power to unite people across various divides.

He emphasized that this unifying force of music can propel national progress.

"Music brings people together despite the many differences and preferences of individuals in society," he noted.

He pointed out that the influence of Ghanaian music extends well beyond the country's borders, as evidenced by the substantial followings of artistes like Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy.

"When you look at these artistes in the industry now, Shatta Wale with a huge fanbase, Stonebwoy with a huge fanbase; that is the impact of music," he said.

Amandzeba urged Ghanaians to recognize and value music's broader potential for national development.
