Kwaku Sintim-Misa, better known as KSM, a legendary Ghanaian comedian, has heaped praise on the emerging generation of comedians in Ghana for their rapid growth and success.

In an interview with Bernard Avle on Citi 97.3 FM, KSM commended the current crop of Ghanaian comedians, including DKB, OB Amponsah, Lexzy De Comic, and Funny Face, for rejuvenating the comedy scene with their captivating performances.

While Nigerian comedians have long been regarded as some of the best on the continent, KSM believes that Ghanaian comedy is now on the rise.

He stated, "I think the new gang... the GH Comedians; I really have a lot of respect for them.

“They have done extremely well—even to the point that when there is a comedy show in Ghana now, there is not a lineup of Nigerian comedians... now we have our own, and some of them even sell more tickets than the Nigerians."

KSM praised the immense talent, creativity, and hard work displayed by these Comedians and noted their frequent stand-up comedy specials, which have gained significant popularity among Ghanaian audiences.

KSM also took the opportunity to promote his new venture, Cactus Creek Hotel, located in Aburi, in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
