We’re sorry; our intention is to entertain – Team Akabenezer to Achimota Mall over viral altercation

Ghanaian comic actor and Youtube content creator, Akabenezer, known by others as Ras Nene or Dr. Likee recently had some misunderstanding with the management of the Achimota Mall.

The content creator was angry over the fact that his team were prevented from shooting a skit at the Mall’s premises.

The issue has for the past days been a topical in both the traditional and the new media.

Amid the public scrutiny, the actor’s team has apologized for calling the facility’s management out in a viral video.

“There was an altercation between the security at the Achimota mall and the Ras Nene team at the mall premises on 8th June, 2023. Team Ras Nene wishes to apologize to the management of the mall and it's teaming supporters for the unfortunate incident.

“Our intentions still remain to entertain Ghanaians always. Ghana is for all of us and we need peace and love to enjoy our motherland. Love to all Ghanaians,” the statement issued on Sunday, June 11, by Okodie, the production’s General Manager read.
