Most parts of Ghana are to expect partly cloudy skies with isolated thunderstorms this evening, according to the Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet).
In its latest forecast, GMet predicts that mist and fog patches are also expected to form "over forest, coastal and mountainous areas early tomorrow morning," the forecaster said.
Areas that could see thunderstorms include Ho, Koforidua, Akim Oda, Kumasi, Obuasi, Tarkwa, Sefwi Bekwai, Ketekrachi, Yendi, Tamale, Bole and Damongo.
However, cities like Accra, Cape Coast, Takoradi and Sunyani are likely to remain "partly cloudy."
"Most sectors of the country are expected to be dominated by partly cloudy conditions with few cases of localised thunderstorms with or without rain occurring in some few areas within slightly north of coastline, middle, transition and northern sectors tonight" said Kirk Amedza-ke, a duty forecaster at GMet.
It advised the public to keep an eye on the latest forecasts as thunderstorm activity could impact some regions over the next 24 hours.
The forecast provides valuable updates to help Ghanaians plan for the day and be aware of any potential thunderstorm threats in their vicinity.
The forecast is valid from 6 pm this evening, Tuesday, May 21, to Wednesday, May 22.
