Outspoken Ghanaian actress and social critic, Lydia Forson, has slammed the opposition NDC fanatics jubilating in her comments section on social media after she criticized the Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah for defending corrupt officials in his government.
The actress, in a tweet in the early hours of Thursday, July 7, 2022, yelled at the Information Minister for defending corrupt deeds even when he used to be praised for grilling corrupt governments as a journalist.
Her tweet at the Information Minister reads: “But I still stand by my belief that Kojo Oppong went from grilling corrupt politicians, to now leading politicians to defend the indefensible! He’s the best thing for NPP and the worst for us.”
The jubilant NDC supporters on social media herald her for throwing jabs at the Information Minister.
However, in her response after a few moments, she wrote in a tweet seen by this portal," Dear some NDC people,
I’m not your voice and I’ve never been; I also remember the verbal attacks from 2015. Don’t come and fool in my comments this morning. You’re only on my side for now; we’ll see about that when the tables turn.
