Today ,1st April, 2022 is exactly one week since astute broadcaster Francis Cann better known as Doctar Cann died.

Doctar Cann who was the host of ‘Showbiz Xtra ‘ - a weekend entertainment talk show on Happy FM passed away at a private hospital in Accra on Friday, March 25, 2022, after a short illness, his management wrote in a statement

Born to Mr. Francis Sylvester Cann and Mrs. Gloria Ofosu, he married Mrs. Dorcas Cann, whom he has four children with – three boys and an 8-month old baby girl. He was an inspiration to most budding Ghanaian musicians.

When entertaining show's hosts are mentioned in Ghana never can you relent mentioning the name of the late Doctar Cann. He really carved a niche on that which pushed him into bagging numerous RTP awards nominations.

One of Cann's ways was how he promoted upcoming artists. As today marks a week of his sudden demise, Hotfmghana.com brings you a video of what transpired in the studio of Happy FM whenever Cann was in charge.

In the video, the late Cann while playing one of the hit songs of award-winning UK-based Ghanaian afro gospel artiste Joseph Matthew who is better known as JM, titled 'Not Alone", named the 'Not Alone' hitmaker who is set to release another smashing hit song dubbed 'Blessed' in two weeks time as the new King of afro gospel.

The late Cann's one week commemoration will be held at the Police Depot at Tesano in Accra today, Friday, April 1,2022.
