The Managing Director of Citi TV/FM, Samuel Attah-Mensah is urging corporate bodies in Ghana to support the Creative Art Industry.
Mr. Samuel Attah-Mensah noted that it is good companies in the country declare the huge profits they make at the end of the year but noted that it is time they invest in the Creative Art Industry.
He, therefore, called on them to support the development of the youth whose interest is in the Creative Arts. He made the appeal on Citi TV’s programme Point of View hosted by Bernard Avle.
Samens noted that supporting the Creative Art Industry would go a long way to clear most of the youth from the streets. Citi TV in collaboration with the Accra Metropolitan Assembly would be organising the Heritage Art Festival, the programme forms part of this year’s Heritage Month.
The Heritage Art Festival would be from March 12 to 14, 2020 and would be held at the Forecourt of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly. Over fifty artists are expected to participate in the programme.
