Respect My New Brand– Shatta Michy To Critics

Dancehall artist Shatta Wale baby’s mama, Shatta Michy, has asked Ghanaians to respect her for her new brand.

According to the mother of one, maturity has caused her to evolve, hence she prefers the name Michy to Shatta Michy.

She stated that, though Shatta Michy remains her stagename, she’d rather be referred to as Michy, short for Michelle, in her everyday life.

Michy revealed that the young crazy girl who came to the entertainment industry as Shatta Michy is now a changed person.

“Most people know me as the crazy girl but I want my new brand to be respected”, she stated.

In an interview on Zylofon FM’s Showbiz Agenda, she announced her decision to embark on women empowerment project and has refrained from the life she got used to.

Michy also expressed her willingness to stay away from controversies in the media and urged all Ghanaians to appreciate the woman that she has grown into.

Though she said she has no regrets from her past life, Michy stated that she plans on setting boundaries to some of the companies she kept as colleagues.

She further asked that, Ghanaians regard good and positive news the same way they do negative and controversial ones.

“The media has trained people to enjoy controversies more than positive news, which is very sad, she added.
