Martha Ankomah Wins Hitz Monthly Celebrity Ratings

Sexy and talented actress, Martha Ankomah, has won the Best Actress category of Hitz FM's monthly celebrity ratings on Hitz FM's 'Cruise Control' show.

Gone were the days when the likes of Jackie Appiah, Nadia Buari, Yvonne Nelson etc, dominated the female category in the movie industry. Monthly polls conducted by Hitz FM on its Facebook page proved that the trend had changed.

The monthly polls seek to get the Facebook fan base of the number one entertainment station in the capital more interactive.

The contest began with a preliminary stage which required listeners to suggest which actress they would want to find in that category. This yielded the top 5, which were Jacke Appiah, Nadia Buari, Martha Ankomah, Yvonne Okoro and Yvonne Nelson. Our Facebook subscribers were subsequently indulged once more to vote for the top 5 actresses. After a stiff competition, Martha Ankoma came up tops with 15,295 votes, followed by Yvonne Okoro with 13,958 votes, Jackie Appiah with 5,335, Nadia Buari – 4,887 votes and Yvonne Nelson with 2,753.
