
A first year sweet and eloquent lady of Jayee University College, Lordina Martey has been crowned Miss Lloyds for the year 2011.
The event which was organized by Lloyds Plaza and supported by Lloyd's ladies boutique and Lloyd's beauty Salon had eleven awesome ladies competing for the ultimate prize but after three rounds, five ladies, Lordina Martey, Gizzela Nana Adwoa, Jennifer Ackah, Mercedes Jacquelin and Jedida Koomson made it to the final stage where Miss Lordina out staged them to win the crown.
For her prize, Miss Lordina won for herself GHC 150, a one year free gym exercise inside the Lloyds gym, one year free beauty therapy at the Lloyds unisex Salon and a full employment opportunity at the Lloyds financial services.
Miss Mercedes who was the first runner up had GHC 100, a one year free gym exercise inside the Lloyds gym, one year free beauty therapy at the Lloyds unisex Salon whiles the second runner up, Miss Nana Adwoa also won for herself GHC 50, a one year free gym exercise inside the Lloyds gym and one year free beauty therapy at the Lloyds unisex Salon.
Speaking to www.pinkfmonlinegh.com after the show, Miss Lordina said, “I'm over whelmed with joy to the extent that I can't find even words to qualify my happiness. That does not mean I wasn't sure of winning the crown but honestly I think the other competitors came prepared”.
“I think the way and manner I controlled myself on stage did the magic for me and I think my confidence level too was not bad at all. Let me use this opportunity to thank the Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O) of Lloyds, Mr. Kwaku Duah for the way he motivated me when I came for the registration”, Lordina said.
The beauty Queen who started modeling barely a year ago said winning the Miss Lloyds 2011 will surely challenge her to doing more in 2012 and as an ambassador of Lloyds she'll do all it takes to sell Lloyds to the farthest Country on this planet.
