I Will Be In Good Shape When The League Resumes – Mathew Cudjoe

Kumasi Asante Kotoko's teenage sensation, Mathew Anim Cudjoe has assured fans that he will be in good shape to get going when the football season resumes.

The 16-year-old prodigy signed for the Porcupine Warriors last year after excelling in the Baby Jet u-16 tournament.

Prior to the suspension of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season, the attacking player had wowed spectators and had proved to fans of the Reds and all other followers of the game that he is one to keep an eye on.

In the midst of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis which is keeping football on hold, Mathew Cudjoe continues to train at home with supervision from his personal trainer.

Speaking in an interview on the Kotoko Express App, Anim Cudjoe says training has gone well and he is confident he will be fit and ready to go whenever the league season resumes.

“My training is going very well. I am being trained by a professional coach so it has been good. I follow every instruction he gives to me and the advice he gives me on the type of food to eat and when I need to sleep.

“All these things are building me up very well and when the league resumes I will come good and my fans will be happy”, the Bayern Munich target shared.

He has 6 appearances in the Ghana Premier League this season and has netted a goal as well.
