Appiah’s Fenerbahce fail to win Turkish title
Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah failed in his attempt to win the Turkish league with Fenerbahce after their major Istanbul rivals Galatasaray snatched the title away on the final day of the season.

Fenerbahce were hoping to secure their third successive title but the draw, leaves them second on 81 points.
Former UEFA Cup champions Galatasaray beat Kayserispor 3-0 to win the title with 83 points after lagging behind them nearly all the season.
