Worrying Times For King Faisal As Club Remains Winless After GPL Matchday 10

League Report Worrying Times For King Faisal As Club Remains Winless After GPL Matchday 10
FEB 17, 2020 LISTEN

After Match Week 10 of the ongoing 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season, King Faisal remains without a single win as their woes and relegation battle continues.

The Kumasi-based club is one of the 3 clubs that were reinstated from the Division One League into the Ghana Premier League when the new Ghana Football Association (GFA) assumed office.

Since the season commenced, however, things have not gone as smoothly as King Faisal and its supporters would have wanted. The Alhaji Grusah-owned club opened its campaign in the Ghana Premier League in an away clash against Dreams FC.

They disappointingly lost 4-1 at the Theatre of Dreams before going on to lose two more matches giants Ashanti Gold and Aduana Stars on Match Week 2 and Match Week 3 respectively.

Though they have shown promise and the desire to fight to turn things around, King Faisal has subsequently lost 3 more matches and has drawn 4 matches as well.

Heading into Match Week 11 of the Ghana Premier League in midweek, the club is carrying a headache and will be eager to gain a positive result to seek their first 3 points of the season.

They are set to take on Legon Cities FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday, February 19, 2020. With the rebranded Wa All Stars side just 2 points away from the relegation zone, King Faisal will obviously not have it easy on the matchday.
