Hearts of Oak’s attacker Kojo Obeng Jnr is set to miss the team's titanic clash against bitterest rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko this weekend in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians are expected to host the Porcupine Warriors at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday in a Match Week 6 fixture of the ongoing 2019/2020 Ghanaian top-flight season.

Ahead of the crucial match, Modernghana Sports can report that highly-rated forward Kojo Obeng Jnr will miss the match through injury.

The youngster picked up a minor sprain injury after Hearts of Oak's match against Ebusua Dwarfs but managed to recover on time to play against Liberty Professionals last weekend.

In that match at the Carl Reindorf Park when the Rainbow lads won 2-1, Obeng Jnr suffered another injury setback and had to be substituted in the first half.

He is still nursing that injury and will miss the clash against Asante Kotoko on Sunday. The mouth-watering encounter will kick off at 15:00GMT on the Matchday.
