Head coach for Ebusua Dwarfs, Robert Essibu has resigned from his position after four matches into the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season, Modernghana Sports can report.

The Cape Coast-based club has been one of the worst teams in the top-flight since the season started in December. They have failed to pick up even a single point after four Matchdays and currently sits bottom of the division standings.

Having lost four successive matches, fans have been piling pressure on coach Essibu in the past week, demanding for a win in the team’s clash against Liberty Professionals today.

At the end of 90 minutes of soccer action at the Cape Coast Stadium, Dwarfs lost 2-1 after squandering a goal advantage.

Subsequently, after the match, coach Robert Essibu has resigned from his position as the head coach of the side, becoming the second manager to part ways with a club in the ongoing Ghana Premier League season.

The first manager was Hearts of Oak’s Kim Grant who was shown the exit door by his employers after losing his first game against Berekum Chelsea.
