Interim head coach for Obuasi Ashanti Gold, Yakubu Sheriff Mambo has revealed that his outlet has prepared very well ahead of their meeting with Techiman Eleven Wonders this weekend.

The two-top-flight clubs will go head to head at the Obuasi Len Clay Sports Stadium in a Match Week 3 fixture of the ongoing 2019/2020 season.

In a pre-match press conference today, Miners manager Yakubu Mambo has shared that he is confident his team can contain the Techiman-based club and beat them at the end of the 90 minutes.

“I am assured of a win on Sunday because we are putting all our efforts to achieve it. It is not going to be an easy or walkover fixture but our aim and preparations are towards a win in this game”, the coach noted.

The confident Coach Mambo has called on all supporters of Ashanti Gold to find their way to the Len Clay Sports Stadium to cheer the team on to victory on Sunday.

“I am urging all the fans to be at the stadium on Sunday to watch us perform well and give them a victory in the end”, he added.

Ashgold after recording two wins from their first two matches of the season will be eyeing a third win to maintain their 100% record in the division.

For Wonders, they go into the match as underdogs but will hope to upset their host to ensure they at least earn a point to take back home.
