Head coach for Accra Great Olympics, Nii Armah has opened on the preparations of his team ahead of the start of the 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season.
The team has been playing in the lower division for the last couple of years before being reinstated into the top-flight by Congress during the last Elective Congress of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Set to compete in the new 18-club Ghana Premier League, Coach Nii Armah says Great Olympics is ready for what lies ahead even though they are aware it won’t be an easy campaign.
“I believe that since we had our qualification to the premiership things have changed and preparation is almost getting to the right zone as a coach will be expecting”.
“I believe that everybody is prepared. I believe that everybody is capable of winning the league. The league is going to be very difficult, very tough. But with my team, we are ready”, the License A coach said in a video posted on the GFA’s official Twitter handle on Sunday morning.
According to him, his team will be playing a 4-3-3 formation in hopes of finishing as one of the top four teams to try and secure qualification to the CAF Champions League or the Confederations Cup.
