Black Stars midfield enforcer, Thomas Partey has granted Ghana’s historic pitch invader Suleman Awal his dream of taking a picture together.
The aspiring footballer who is a nurse by profession invaded the pitch of the Cape Coast Stadium on Thursday, November 14, 2019, when the Black Stars played as host to the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the opening match of the qualifiers to the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Having been arrested and charged with unlawful entry and disturbing of public peace, Suleman Awal was subsequently released after two days with the intervention of several key personalities.
After revealing that he invaded the pitch to try and take a picture with Thomas Teye Partey who is his idol, that dream has now been made a reality.
The Atletico Madrid star midfielder has met with Awal and has granted him his wish as well as gifted him a Black Stars jersey.
