The Black Meteors of Ghana continue their preparations for their opening match in the CAF U-23 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament against Cameroon on Wednesday evening.
The team is currently in Egypt for this year’s edition of the U-23 AFCON which will serve as grounds for securing qualification to the 2020 Olympic Games which will be staged in Japan, Tokyo.
Ghana has been pitted in Group C where they are set to face host nation Egypt, as well as Mali and Cameroon.
Ahead of their first game against Cameroon, the team trained this evening under the supervision of head coach Ibrahim Tanko.
The crucial match will be played on Friday, November 8, 2019, at the Cairo International Stadium with kick-off time set at 20:00GMT.
