Accra, Oct. 10, GNA - The National Union of Ghanaian Students (NUGS) has sent a congratulatory message to the senior national team, the Black Stars and all stakeholders who contributed towards their historic qualification to the World Cup scheduled for Germany 2006.
Mr Samuel Okudzetu Ablakwa, President of NUGS in a statement said the historic qualification was received with great excitement and this has strengthened the unity of the nation and lifted the spirits of the people high. The statement attributed the feat of the Stars to the hard work, patriotism and sheer sacrifice of the entire team and its management board, the Ministry of Education and Sports and the Government as well as the good of people of Ghana.
"The NUGS believe that with proper planning, little interference and with more motivation that are clear tenets of this particular feat, if such are exhibited in all areas most of our national goals would change from dreams to reality". The statement added.
