MAY 14, 2018 LISTEN

The Chief Executive Officer of Aduana Stars, Mr Albert Commey has admitted their second group stage match against Raja Casablanca from Morocco will not be easy when they host them at Dormaa.

Playing the Moroccan counterpart at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park will be the first time playing at home after qualifying for the group stages of the CAF Confederations Cup.

Aduana opened their group stage campaign in an away game against ASEC Mimosa in Abidjan and unfortunately returned home with no point.

Ahead of the second group stage game, Ghana’s only representative in the competition will be looking forward to picking up their first three points to enhance their chances of progressing out of the group stage.

Speaking to Class FM ahead of that crucial game, Mr Commey explained that the reason the game with be tough is due to the fact that the away team, Raja Casablanca also drew at home in their first game.

Therefore they also come into this game like wounded lions and it will be difficult for the Fire Boys to snatch all three points from them.

The CEO of the Dormaa based club also admits there is pressure on Aduana to perform on the day and luckily for them, they will be playing at home where they have their superiority and can beat any team on any day. He is as such hoping the team will come to the party and perform exceptionally well to get the job done.

Additionally, he revealed that Aduana is ready to fight for the three points and the players are very ready for battle.

When asked if clearing their outstanding matches in the Ghana Premier League as well as honoring matches in Continental Competition will have any effect on the team, Albert Commey responded he is optimistic combining their outstanding matches in the Ghana Premier League with the Confederations Cup matches will not have any effect on result at the end of the day because if they plan well everything will be successful.
