Paa Kofi Sunsum Labels Super Clash Win As Sweet Victory

Hearts of Oak’s National Chapters Chairman (NCC), Paa Kofi Sunsum has described Hearts of Oak’s win over Kumasi Asante Kotoko as a sweet victory.

Hearts of Oak managed to run away with all three points when they came up against Kotoko in their backyard after beating their sworn enemies by a goal to nil.

The win was the first in three matches to ensure a struggling Hearts of oak returned to winnings. Winning the matchday 1o fixture means the Phobians now move to 10^th position ahead of the Porcupine Warriors even though the two are both on fourteen points.

Paa Kofi Sunsum speaking to Class FM today said the sweet victory has come at the right time and moving forward it will boost the morale of the team to help them get their season on track.

He believes the poor run of form that the team has been through from the start off the season is not something the team wanted.

“The team will win today and lose or draw tomorrow, it is something that we could not understand”, he said.

He added a lot of people blamed their poor form on management, with others blaming the technical team and some even linking it to the poor performance of the players.

Now that the team has been able to get one over their nemesis, he is hoping it will help revive the team to perform better going into their subsequent matches.
