Interim WBO Super Bantamweight Champion, Isaac Dogboe has insisted that the Ghana Premier League is not competitive.

The Nyantakyi led administration have been slammed and criticized by many Ghanaian football fans for not maintaining the standard of the Premier League when he took over as the president of the Ghana FA in 2005.

“I don’t really follow football in Ghana because the competitiveness of the league has gone out of it,” Dogboe told Ghanacrusader.com

“There is no competition in the league but I believe after a while it is going to revive.”

“For me there a lot of talents out there, it is just the way of getting the right talents and developing them and letting them be patriotic about it.”

The young and energetic boxer became Ghana’s eighth World champion after stopping Mexico’s Cesar Juarez two weeks ago to win the aforementioned title at the Bukom Boxing Arena.

Dogboe will now face WBO World super bantamweight champion, Jessie Magdaleno in March 2018.
