Former Youth and Sports Minister, Nii Lante Vanderpuye has sent a strong warning to the Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Sannie Darra.
Under the auspices of Nii Lante Vanderpuye as the Sports Minister, there were several exchanges of words between both personalities due to some decisions the former GBC worker took.
After the country failed to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Sannie Darra in an interview with the media blamed the Member of Parliament for the people of Odododiodio constituency for not helping the country to make it to a four successive world cup appearance.
However, in an interview with GhOne TV on Friday, Mr Vanderpuye says Sannie should be very cautious with the way he maligns very important people in the football fraternity just because of his position as he will not remain there forever.
“Sannie is my small boy; I trained and taught him little in broadcasting. I will tell him [Sannie] to think about his image and future as a young man.
“If you think that you can stand out there and ‘lick people’s boots’ all the time and try and malign and insults others because of what you are getting today.
“One day will know more be there and you will meet the same people you have maligned and insult in past,” he added.
