The court of Gefle have thrown out an appeal by Ghanaian midfielder Kwame Bonsu in his alleged rape and assault case.
The energetic midfielder was sentenced to two-years in prison by a district court in Gefle two months ago for allegedly beating and raping his former wife Maria Magnusson.
The midfielder and his lawyers filed an appeal against the verdict but the District Court in Gefle who are handling the case has thrown out the appeal.
“The former Midfielder Kwame Bonsu is sentenced to a year and ten months in prison for rape and maltreatment against his ex-wife.” Nanna Jami, a Swedish Journalist of 24bleking who was at the court disclosed.
“It is now clear that the Supreme Court, HD, did not consider his appeal in the case.
Bonsu 23, will also be expelled from the Scandinavian country and will never step there again after his jail term
