Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Steve Polack has debunked reports suggesting that his outfit are interested signing Winful Cobbinah from their rivals Hearts of Oak.
Reports making rounds in the media indicates that the Porcupine Warriors to get the signature of the midfielder.
Despite Cobbinah being linked to the Warriors it is believed that there mouthwatering offers for the midfielder including Huddersfield.
However, the former Berekum Chelsea trainer insist he has no interest in signing Hearts of Oak midfielder Winful Cobbinah
“I admit that Cobbinah is a very good player that every team will appreciate him but it is not true that I have recommended him to Kotoko management.” Polack told Nhyira FM.
“I’m currently in Cape Coast scouting players to be added to my team for next year and not thinking of Winful Cobbina.
Kotoko is looking forward to sign new players to augment their squad for the next season.
Polack is reported to have shown interest in Guinean attacker Seydouba Camara who played for his country in the ongoing WAFU Cup of Nations.
