Former Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah defends his possible return to the Black Stars

Head coach of Al Khartoum Kwesi Appiah says calls for his return to the Black Stars are not out of place given the amount of quality work he did as head coach of the team.

Appiah is leading the race of three coaches, French Willy Sagnol and AFCON winning Hugo Broos.

But there are some who feel that his return is pre-mature and someone with a more winning mentality should be given the nod.

'Along the line, people will look at the kind of work you did and say okay this guy [this this or that] so we need him back.'

'At the end of the day, in coaching you know you can go out and come in,' he told GTV Sports Highlights host Kwabena Yeboah.
