Inusah Mukaila wins BIC Shavers promo

Accra, Jan. 17, GNA - Inusah Mukaila from the Northern Region emerged winner of the ultimate Mitsubishi Space Star Car prize, during the final draw of the BIC Shavers promotion, held over the weekend at the Mantse Agbona Park in Accra.

The BIC Shavers promo was part of activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of BIC producers of stationery, lighters and shavers.

The promotion, which started in November last year, saw over 500 consumers partaking across the country but 100 were rewarded and Mukaila won the overall prize at stake and many winners including Inusah, were excited to receive their prizes.

The 100, whose names were picked during the draw were rewarded with home appliances including blenders, electric kettle, rice cooker, table top fridge, juice extractors and iron.

Speaking to the Press after the final draw, George Nkonsoh, the Business Development Manager for Ghana, Togo, Benin and Liberia thanked consumers for staying put with the company over the four decades and added that ''this is the time to reward our consumers as part of our 40th anniversary''.

Mr. Nkonsoh further noted that by improving distribution and making products readily available to customers they have been able to maintain their relevance in the market.

He urged consumers to continue the purchase of his outfit's product saying 'BIC produces quality products'.

When Mukaila was called from his base in the Northern Region, he was full of excitement and couldn't believe it was a reality.

He thanked BIC for the opportunity and being real with consumers.

The final draw which was patronized by people in and around the community engaged in series of activities including a competition held among barber, cultural/gymnastics display and a musical performance by Luther.

The BIC Shaver promo was graced by Nii Ayikai III (Chief of Akamaa We), Numo Akwetey and personnel from Gaming Commission who were there to supervise the raffle.
