Yaw Preko Wins Champion of Champions In Nigeria

Former Ghana international Yaw Preko who is acting head coach of Ifeanyi Ubah FC has won the champions of champions trophy on Wednesday night against Rangers FC.

Yaw Preko who resigned from Accra Hearts of Oak to join the Nigerian team said it is the doing of God Almighty that he won the enviable cup against a very popular and tough opponent.

He was a former player of the national team of Ghana, the Black Stars. He made his name in Europe with Anderlecht in Belgium and was known for his speed and love for goals from the right flank.

Yaw Preko clinched his first silverware with Nigerian side FC Ifeanyi Ubah guiding the Anambbra Warriors to win the 2017 Charity Cup.

Ten-man FC Ifeanyi Ubah clinched the Charity Cup after they beat a disappointing Rangers 4-3 on penalties after both teams failed to score within regulation time.

Ghanaian-born defender, Kojo Baah was sent off after his second booking for a late tackle.

Coach Preko is currently acting as a head coach for the Nigerian top-flight side after the departure of Kenichi Yatshuhashi.
