Ghana duo Solomon Asante and Daniel Nii Adjei were handed starting roles as TP Mazembe beat MO Bejaia 4-1 to win the 2016 CAF Confederation Cup.

The Ravens sealed a 5-2 aggregate win with that fabulous in the second-leg of the final at the TP Mazembe Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Merveille Bope opened the scoring with a seventh minute goal as he guided the ball past Chamseddine Rahmani at his back post.

Bejaia pulled one back with a quarter of an hour left through Sofiane Khadir but Jonathan Bolingi restored the hosts lead two minutes later.

Mazembe will as a result face 2016 CAF Champions League winners Mamelodi Sundowns in the Caf Super Cup early next year.
