Asamoah Gyan is not satisfied with the state of the Ohene Gyan Sports Stadium pitch ahead of their clash on Sunday against Mauritius in the 2017 Africa Nations Cup qualifier.

Ghana defeated Togo by a goal to nil through debutant Bernard Mensah's lone goal on Monday in a friendly international to prepare the team for the AFCON qualifier.

Gyan who came on in the second half of the game thinks the pitch didn't support free flow football on the evening.

'The game was a friendly one, so our main focus was to do what the coach wants us to do, by passing more.

'I think we did quite well, but the field didn't help us with moving of the ball,' he said.

However Frank Boahene, who is the head of Green Grass Technology, the body in-charge of the maintenance of the pitch believes the condition of the pitch is good to support competitive play.

'Still the pitch is in a very good condition, but we will do our final preparation by mowing it. I will also have the chance to meet the Black Stars coach by taking whatever suggestions and ideas on board,' Boahene said.
