Accra, June 09, GNA - Voltic Ghana Limited and Scancom Ghana Limited on Wednesday made various donations to the National Sports Council (NSC) towards the organisation of the National Sports Festival. The Festival is scheduled to kick off on June 13 and end on June 20 at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.
Voltic Ghana Limited producers of Voltic Mineral Water donated 50 cartons of mineral water worth 2.5 million cedis whilst Scancom operators of Spacefone also presented 500 pieces of "T"Shirts towards the Festival.
Mrs Natalia Anang, Sales and Marketing Manager of Voltic Company Limited who made the donation on behalf of her company said they would also supply sachets of water to participants on each day of the festival to give them a cool atmosphere.
She said her company considers the donation as its responsibility towards the development and promotion of sports in the country. Mr Albert Agbozo, Acting Chief Executive of NSC expressed appreciation to the companies for the donation and called on other companies to emulate them by contributing towards the success of the festival.
