Ghana U20 female coach submits final squad for FIFA U20 Women's World Cup

Black Princesses coach Bash Hayford has named his final 21 squad for the FIFA U20 Women's World Cup finals which begins next week in Canada.

Two players- Linda Smith and striker Theresa Ackon-Cobbinah- were excluded from the team currently training in Canada.

The squad includes majority of the players which won bronze at the 2012 FIFA U17 World Cup finals in Azerbaijan.

The Princesses preparations for the start of the tournament have been smooth after with Mississauga Panthers and beating G-S United and Bayhawks U21 side 2-0 and 3-1 respectively.

Ghana open her campaign against hosts Canada on 5 August before facing Finland and North Korea.

Black Princesses squad:
Goalkeepers:  Bea Ntiwaa Nketia, Rose Teye Baah , Victoria Agyei

Defenders:  Rebecca Asante, Grace Adams, Edem Atovor , Cynthia Boakye-Yiadom, Ellen Coleman , Faustina Ampah , Rita Darko.

Midfielders:  Sherifatu Sumaila , Wasila Diwura-Soale , Alice Kusi , Jennifer Cudjoe , Priscilla Okyere , Rasheeda Abdul-Rahman , Fatima Alhassan

Forwards:  Veronia Appiah , Alberta Asante , Alice Eva Danso , Christiana Boateng
