Accra, Feb. 17 GNA - Stanbic Bank on Tuesday donated a Computer, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) and Printer, all valued at 20 million cedis to the Ghana Red Cross Society (GRCS) at a ceremony in Accra. The items are to facilitate the administrative work of the Society and were donated in fulfilment of part of the Bank's social responsibility.

Mr William Thomas, Managing Director of the Bank, who made presentation, expressed the hope that the items would help the Society to modernise its administrative procedure.

He said the Bank had been impressed with the immense contributions of GRCS in providing relief services to the people and appealed to members of the Society to continue to offer selfless service to Ghanaians.

Mr Justice Kofi Akwaah, President of GRCS, pledged to put the items to good use and said that they had come at a time when the Society was revamping its activities to improve its relief services. He appealed to other Banks and philanthropists to emulate the Bank.
