FIFA rankings: Ivory Coast, the first African nation

FIFA has released its monthly ranking of national teams. Spain continues to dominate world football. La Roja is ahead of Germany, Colombia, http://en.africatopsports.com/?s=fifa+rankings#sthash.zfJ6m0R6.dpuf Argentina and the Netherlands. The top 10 is unchanged.

Africa is dominated by Ivory Coast despite its five seats lost. The Elephants of Ivory Coast http://en.africatopsports.com/?s=fifa+rankings#sthash.zfJ6m0R6.dpuf now occupy the 18th rank. Ghana, Africa's second largest country, occupies the 24th place ahead of Mali (32th), Algeria (34th) and Nigeria (35th).
